VP – Security Automation Engineer / DevSecOps- Global Bank

A global bank is looking for a Security Automation Engineer to be responsible for supporting and managing key Information Security capabilities across the Bank’s global IT platform. You will review, design and implement changes to security controls, with a particular focus on automating existing manual processes and embedding security into technology pipelines.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop and implement security automation solutions that mitigate security risks and improve interactions across product and infrastructure teams
• Design and integrate security solutions into new and existing technology pipelines
• Identify opportunities to automate manual security controls and processes
• Manage and enforce security policies through automation, Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code

What you'll bring:

• Strong understanding of Information Security, including network, infrastructure and endpoint security principles
• Experience operating security controls across multiple security domains
• Proficiency in scripting languages used for automation, such as PowerShell, Python or Bash
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of Policy as Code and how it can be used to improve automation, consistency and operational efficiency
• Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland and be able to work in Dublin (2-3 days a week on site)
