VP - Cloud Solution Architect (Azure) - Banking (Dublin)

My reputable global financial service client is building up their cloud team in Dublin. Seeking a Azure Cloud Solution Architect (VP) to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud solutions as part of its cloud transformation strategy. Working within a regulated banking environment, you will define Azure architecture standards, Landing Zones, security controls, governance frameworks, and cloud adoption best practices.

What you'll do:

  • Design Azure cloud architecture, Landing Zones, governance, and security frameworks
  • Lead cloud transformation and migration initiatives
  • Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform and DevSecOps best practices
  • Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions
  • Drive cloud resilience, compliance, and operational excellence

What you'll bring:

  • Strong Azure architecture and engineering background.
  • Expertise in designing and delivering Azure cloud platforms, including Landing Zones, governance frameworks, and large-scale migrations from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments within highly regulated enterprises
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Expertise in Azure Networking, Entra ID, RBAC, Security, and Governanc
  • Financial services or regulated industry experience preferred
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • Experience with GCP/ AWS are strong advantage
