Risk Manager - Contract (Immediate Start)

What you'll do:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework, policy, and risk appetite statement that supports organisational goals.
• Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks including operational, systemic, compliance, and strategic risks across all business units.
• Maintain and continuously improve the corporate risk register by ensuring risks are accurately documented, owned, managed, and mitigated through clear action plans.
• Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls designed to mitigate identified risks while ensuring timely remediation of any deficiencies or gaps.
• Collaborate closely with executive management to manage risks related to corporate governance, data protection (GDPR), business continuity planning, IT security, cybersecurity, and compliance

What you bring:

• A deep understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills enabling you to assess complex operational and systemic risks across diverse business functions.
• Excellent communication skills allowing you to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external partners.
• A proactive approach combined with diligence in identifying emerging risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented promptly.
• An appropriate third-level degree qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field is highly desirable.
