Corporate Legal VP
Corporate Legal Vice President | Dublin An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial technology lawyer to join a global organisation in Dublin. This role sits within a highly regarded legal team supporting technology, operations and procurement activities across the EMEA region.
You'll advise on complex technology and outsourcing arrangements, regulatory developments and strategic projects in a fast-paced, international environment.
This is an ideal opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders, collaborating globally and advising on evolving areas such as operational resilience, outsourcing and AI regulation.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial technology agreements, including ICT, outsourcing, SaaS/cloud, consultancy and supplier contracts.
- Advising stakeholders across Procurement, IT, Operations, Data Privacy and Third-Party Management teams on legal and regulatory risks.
- Providing guidance on regulations including DORA, GDPR, outsourcing frameworks and emerging AI legislation.
- Supporting negotiations on strategic vendor and outsourcing arrangements.
- Developing contract templates, playbooks and guidance documents to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Delivering training to internal stakeholders on contractual risk and third-party management.
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and advising on their impact.
- Supporting dispute management and providing practical, commercial solutions.
- Collaborating with international legal teams on regional and global projects.
About You
You will be a qualified solicitor with:
- 5-8+ years' PQE gained in a leading law firm, financial institution or large multinational environment.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial contracts.
- Knowledge of outsourcing, GDPR and technology-related regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a complex, regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Cross-border or international experience would be advantageous.
- Exposure to AI governance or emerging technology regulation is beneficial but not essential.
