Senior Director, Legal – Dublin, Ireland A leading global financial services company is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Legal to oversee legal operations across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role involves managing regulatory compliance, advising and collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulators.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading legal strategy for regulated entities and business interests globally.
• Acting as the legal point of contact for cross-functional programs and ensuring alignment with brand considerations.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and providing actionable advice to support product roadmaps.
• Managing relationships with external counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Evaluating complex flows (funds, data, relationships) against regulatory regimes.
• Supporting strategic leadership initiatives as part of the management team.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 10+ years PQE with strong expertise in regulation and financial technology.
• Proven ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical advice.
• Experience managing teams and driving regulatory implementation projects.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with international money transfer, e-commerce, digital wallets, card schemes, and related payment ecosystems.
