Company Secretarial & Governance Assistant
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Company Secretarial and Governance Assistant to join their Dublin-based team. This is a great opportunity to support senior executive management committees and help shape governance standards.
What you'll do:
As a Company Secretarial and Governance Assistant based in Dublin, you will :
- Support the Head of Corporate Governance by managing secretarial administration duties for senior executive management committees, including acting as Secretary for key meetings.
- Coordinate committee processes such as agenda planning, meeting logistics, collation of papers, preparation of minutes, tracking actions, and maintaining accurate records for all relevant committees.
- Assist in ensuring that all committee activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, governance best practices, and internal policies set by the wider group.
- Provide regular advice, guidance, and practical support to colleagues responsible for administering sub-committees, promoting consistency in governance standards and documentation.
- Draft written resolutions for senior executive committee approvals and circulate them efficiently among stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date governance records including terms of reference, membership lists, forward agendas, action trackers, meeting schedules, and records of approvals for all relevant committees.
What you bring:
- Degree qualified with a strong academic background demonstrating commitment to learning and professional development.
- Previous experience in company secretarial or governance roles within financial services or regulated sectors is preferable.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build dependable relationships at all levels within an organisation including senior management.
- Proven research and analytical abilities that enable you to gather information efficiently for regulatory or audit purposes.
- Exceptional organisational skills combined with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail when managing complex records.
- Outstanding written communication skills facilitating clear drafting of resolutions, memos, minutes, and committee documentation.
- Reliable self-motivation coupled with flexibility ensures you can adapt quickly within a supportive team environment; proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required.
