A leading wealth management organisation is seeking an Associate Investment Manager to join their Dublin office

What you'll do:

  • Assist in managing client portfolios and lifecycle processes under supervision, ensuring all actions align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage proactively with clients and intermediaries in real-time to resolve issues, enhance client experience, and ensure suitability of investment strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Financial Planners, Portfolio Managers, Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), and other internal services to deliver holistic outcomes tailored to each client's needs.
  • Conduct thorough investment research and contribute actively to team discussions on asset allocation and portfolio management.
  • Support the development of high-quality client proposals and presentations by participating in business development training sessions and internal pitch delivery meetings.
  • Build internal and external networks by identifying referral opportunities and pursuing new business aligned with strategic goals.
  • Share knowledge and business updates within the team while participating in internal forums, research meetings, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  • Mentor junior team members by fostering a collaborative culture that encourages personal development and feedback integration.
  • Demonstrate initiative in improving technological capability within the team by developing expertise in relevant IT systems.
  • Maintain awareness of the regulatory environment by complying with all applicable standards and integrating compliance into daily practice.

Requirement for this role:

  • Professional qualifications such as IOB - QFA or equivalent demonstrate your readiness for regulated advice roles.
  • Experience in financial services or investment environments provides exposure to portfolio management processes, suitability reviews, client reporting, business development activities, and relationship management.
