Group Financial Controller Healthcare - Ireland

A rapidly growing company PE backed company within healthcare with several entities would like to appoint a newly created Group Financial Controller to manage several entities and support the CFO. This is a newly created role and as they are acquiring new nursing homes across Ireland several locations are options for this role from Kildare, midlands, Limerick, Galway or Cork. Private sector experience within healthcare is a distinct advantage as this is a newly created role.

Salary circa €85,000 - €90,000 plus 20% bonus, benefits and flexible hybrid working on offer. If you have private healthcare experience regardless of where you are based in Ireland get in touch.

Key responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller

• Preparing Management Accounts
• Managing the Statutory Audit
• Analysing financial data & providing insightful commentary
• Financial Modelling including M&A scenarios
• Setting-up and Monitoring internal controls
• High involvement in the budgeting processes
• Streamlining accounting functions and operations
• Day to day Tax Compliance
• Manage AP & AR

Key requirements of the Group Financial Controller

• Accounting Qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA with minimum 5 years PQE
• Proven experience in delivering projects
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
• Compliance focused
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Analytical skills
