Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Banking Associate with 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a market-leading Banking & Finance team. This role offers the chance to work on sophisticated financing transactions for some of the world’s most prominent financial institutions, corporations, and private equity sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters, including corporate lending, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, and restructuring.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, agreements, and other related documentation.
• Supporting clients on cross-border transactions by collaborating with colleagues across the firm's global network.
• Providing strategic advice on regulatory compliance and risk management in relation to banking and finance matters.
• Managing multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards under tight deadlines.
• Building strong relationships with clients by understanding their commercial objectives and delivering tailored solutions.

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in banking and finance law from a leading law firm or reputable in-house legal team.
• Strong academic background with a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Proven experience working on complex financing transactions; cross-border experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent drafting skills with strong attention to detail.
• Commercially astute with the ability to provide practical legal advice that aligns with clients’ business goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.
