Operations Analyst
Operations Analyst Location: Dublin
- Create and update standardised artefacts such as standard operating procedures and process maps across multiple regions to ensure operational consistency.
- Assist global Optimisation teams in delivering key Operations Excellence initiatives by providing analytical support and documentation expertise.
- Contribute to the growth of the Knowledge Hub by developing content and sourcing information from regional teams to maintain a single source of truth for processes.
- Support colleagues within the Knowledge Standards & Training team in successfully delivering assigned projects and initiatives as required.
- Conduct regular reviews of owned artefacts to ensure they remain current, accurate, and reflective of up-to-date business requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of existing and required artefacts by region to facilitate transparency and effective knowledge management.
- Engage with business stakeholders at all levels to define strategic goals, translate them into actionable initiatives, and gather detailed business requirements.
- Carry out high-quality analysis work to produce outputs that meet agreed timescales and quality expectations, supporting both current state assessments and future state design.
- Support the definition of delivery plans by providing input into end-to-end project planning to ensure timely delivery of business value.
- Coordinate testing activities with business stakeholders to validate new or improved processes prior to implementation, ensuring readiness for successful go-live.
What you bring:
- Previous experience working in an analyst role within the financial sector is essential for understanding complex operational environments.
- Proven track record in global insurance markets across UK & MENA, Europe, APAC & LATAM is highly desirable for navigating international operations (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively, translating strategic goals into actionable outcomes that drive business value.
- Experience utilising business analysis methodologies to deliver structured insights and recommendations is crucial for success in this role.
- Familiarity with insurance or reinsurance business processes and technology solutions—ideally digital insurance products—will be advantageous (preferred).
- Strong capability in analysing both structured and unstructured data to identify trends, provide actionable recommendations, and develop relevant metrics.
- Ability to manage relationships across multiple time zones while balancing stakeholder expectations demonstrates adaptability and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Lucid Chart / Lucid Spark, Confluence, JIRA or similar tools supports efficient documentation and collaboration.
- Calmness under pressure combined with excellent problem-solving abilities enables you to overcome barriers while maintaining focus on priorities.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks enhances your ability to contribute effectively in cross-functional project teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—including diplomacy, good judgement, discretion—are vital when presenting findings or advising management.
