Global Payroll Specialist

A leading global organisation is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to join their dedicated payroll team in Dublin, offering an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality payroll services across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly and ad-hoc payrolls across EMEA regions using Workday HRIS and external providers.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements while collaborating with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Handle payment processing, reconciliations, and documentation to support audits and compliance standards.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries via ServiceNow within SLA timelines.
• Maintain knowledge articles on payroll topics for self-service use.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in payroll-related projects or system implementations.
• Support audits (including SOX controls) by preparing accurate payroll documentation.
• Assist in addressing issues from government agencies and updating policies/procedures as needed.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of multi-national payroll experience in a large international company.
• Strong understanding of multi-national payroll compliance and its impact on financial reporting/statutory obligations.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Experience with UKG/IIPay, ServiceNow, or Workday HR platforms.
• Knowledge of equity transactions (e.g., ESPP, RSUs, Stock Options).
• Proficiency in multiple languages, which is beneficial for effective regional communication
