Payroll Manager - Westmeath

A professional payroll bureau is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage client payrolls independently while delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and build strong relationships.
• Manage the full payroll lifecycle, including starters, leavers, statutory deductions, and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
• Conduct detailed checks and reconciliations to guarantee accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Senior Payroll Manager and support junior team members.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in payroll, ideally within a bureau or multi-client environment.
• An IPASS qualification would be a distinct advantage
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll processes, PAYE, PRSI, pensions, and BIK.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to meet strict deadlines
• Previous team management or supervisory experience
