Litigation Solicitor

The successful applicant will inherit a strong existing caseload from a retiring partner, while also playing a key role in the continued growth and development of the firm's litigation practice.

The Role

• Managing an established portfolio of litigation matters.
• Handling a broad range of litigation work including:
  • Personal injury defence litigation.
  • Defamation claims.
  • Commercial disputes.
  • General civil litigation matters.
• Taking over and bringing to conclusion a number of significant ongoing commercial cases.
• Working closely with the firm's partners on new instructions and strategic litigation matters.
• Contributing to the expansion of the litigation department and helping shape its future direction.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with significant litigation experience.
• Background in defence litigation advantageous but not essential.
• Strong technical and case management skills.
• Commercially minded with excellent client relationship abilities.
• Ambitious and motivated by the prospect of developing a practice and progressing to partnership level.
• Experience in business development or a desire to build a client base would be highly advantageous.
