Product Legal Associate

Our client, a leading international financial services organisation, has exclusively partnered with us to appoint a Legal Associate to join its growing Dublin-based legal team. This is a newly created position, reflecting continued growth and investment within the legal function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to move into a commercially focused in-house role with exposure to product development, regulatory matters and strategic business initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with legal and business stakeholders across multiple functions, supporting both new business initiatives and the ongoing management of existing product offerings.

The Role

The successful candidate will support a broad range of legal and regulatory matters relating to investment products and business activities across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the development and implementation of new business and product initiatives.
Supporting legal aspects of product launches and strategic projects.
Drafting, reviewing and updating legal and commercial documentation.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Distribution and Product teams.
Liaising with external advisers, service providers and relevant third parties.
Assisting with regulatory, governance and documentation requirements.
Supporting the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing products and structures.
Providing practical legal support on day-to-day business matters.

Candidate Profile:

Suitable candidates are likely to have:

1-3 years' PQE
Experience gained within a leading law firm, financial services organisation or in-house legal team.
Exposure to investment funds, asset management, financial services, capital markets or other regulated financial products.
Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good commercial awareness and business judgement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
