Investment Accounting Systems - Manager

We are supporting a global financial services business on the appointment of a new Manager for their Investment Systems Accounting. This is a newly created position to develop and own this function locally.

The ideal candidate has:

• Proven expertise with various investment accounting platforms
• Strong understanding of investment accounting, reporting and data analytics.
• Experience managing relationships with third party vendors, senior stakeholders and various business partners

The role:

• Manage and support investment related systems and associated data flows.
• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party vendors.
• Support the delivery of system enhancements, upgrades and strategic change initiatives.
• Ensure the integrity, quality and availability of investment data across multiple platforms.
• Investigate and resolve system and process related issues.
• Coordinate testing activities for system changes and releases.
• Contribute to the development of operational controls, governance and reporting processes.
• Support the implementation of new investment products, business requirements and regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
