Onboarding Associate

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end to end client onboarding processes for new and existing clients.
• Review and validate Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and customer due diligence documentation.
• Coordinate with front office, compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure onboarding requirements are met.
• Conduct client file reviews and perform quality checks to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory obligations.
• Act as a key point of contact for onboarding queries, providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Track onboarding cases and ensure all deadlines and service level agreements are met.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
• Escalate risks, issues, or documentation deficiencies in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Experience within client onboarding, KYC, AML, financial crime, operations, or related banking functions.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and customer due diligence standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience working within a banking or financial services environment would be highly advantageous.

Desirable Experience

• Previous exposure to corporate, institutional, or investment banking clients.
• Experience working with onboarding platforms and workflow management systems.
• Knowledge of European regulatory frameworks and AML requirements.
