Payroll Administrator - Westmeath

A professional payroll bureau is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage client payrolls independently while delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately for a portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and build strong relationships.
• Manage payroll changes including starters, leavers, tax certificates, BIK calculations, pensions, and statutory deductions.
• Prepare PAYE, PRSI, and EFT payment files while ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation.
• Conduct detailed checks and reconciliations to guarantee accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and support multiple client accounts and payroll cycles.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in payroll processing within a fast-paced office environment.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and proficiency in IT systems/software.
• High accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability.
• A keen interest in learning and developing within a payroll environment.
