What you'll do:
* Oversee new home sale transactions from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring all processes are handled efficiently and accurately.
* Manage residential sales and purchases involving both registered and unregistered titles, providing comprehensive support throughout each transaction.
* Assist the receivership team by preparing contracts for sale related to low-cost model fixed asset sales using established receivership or mortgagee contract templates.
* Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail across a large caseload of real estate matters.
* Support probate sales by liaising with clients and third parties to ensure smooth progression of property transfers following bereavement.
* Supervise and maintain the register of pending dealings and undertakings, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
* Take detailed instructions from clients regarding sales, purchases, and re-mortgages, always delivering efficient, polite, and considerate service.
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, solicitors, lending institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
* Maintain accurate files on the case management system, ensuring all documentation is properly recorded and easily accessible at every stage of the process.
* Prepare statements of account for clients prior to closing, liaise with accounts teams regarding financial transactions, issue invoices for completed work, and manage post-completion activities such as e-discharge.
What you bring:
* Hold relevant legal qualifications such as Dip L.S or equivalent experience in real estate law or conveyancing within Ireland.
* Demonstrate strong organisational abilities alongside proven project management skills that enable you to coordinate complex caseloads efficiently.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with an empathetic approach when dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Show proficiency in using case management systems for file maintenance as well as drafting legal documentation required for property transactions.
* Display advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to support document preparation and data management tasks.
* Possess the ability to work on your own initiative while remaining dependable within a collaborative team structure that values mutual support.
* Bring experience in liaising with lending institutions regarding loan offers, drawdown requirements, payment arrangements, and post-completion discharges.
* Have familiarity with preparing applications for registration of title with Tailte Éireann (Land Registry/Registry of Deeds) including addressing queries until completion.
* Demonstrate attention to detail when reviewing files for closing—ensuring all undertakings are complied with—and archiving files according to firm policies.
