What you'll do:
- Provide expert advice on applicable law and regulatory developments affecting the Irish fund management company, ensuring ongoing compliance with all relevant frameworks.
- Manage and advise on all legal aspects of corporate governance, including company secretarial support, board meetings, minutes, and statutory filings.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Participate actively in regulatory and business projects, contributing legal insight to drive successful outcomes.
- Present complex legal topics at Board and governance meetings in an accessible manner for diverse stakeholders.
- Ensure sound corporate governance practices are maintained throughout the organisation by supporting internal processes and controls.
- Advise and collaborate with senior management, Designated Persons, Compliance, Risk, and other teams to implement legal and regulatory requirements effectively.
- Work proactively as part of an international cross-border legal team, building strong relationships with colleagues based in multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate efficiently with external counsel when required to manage specific matters or projects.
- Maintain organised files and manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and uphold high standards of accuracy.
What you bring:
- Qualified Solicitor with up to three years post-qualification experience, ideally gained within investment funds or asset management environments.
- A pragmatic approach combined with solutions-oriented thinking that positions you as a trusted business partner within the organisation.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.
- Excellent communication skills enabling you to liaise confidently with senior management, Board members, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organisational skills allowing you to manage multiple priorities efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
- Experience supporting company secretarial functions such as preparing Board packs, taking minutes, or handling statutory filings is advantageous.
- Proven track record in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts within financial services or related sectors.
- A positive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development within an inclusive workplace.
