Company Secretarial Manager

Save job

An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced corporate governance professional seeking a pivotal role in shaping the future of a new Irish business. This position offers you the chance to join a well-established group expanding into Ireland, where your expertise will directly influence the strategic direction and growth of the company’s local presence.

What you'll do:

As a Company Secretarial Assistant, you will play an instrumental part in building the reputation and reach of a new Irish corporate governance venture. Your daily responsibilities will centre around providing expert company secretarial support tailored specifically to each client’s requirements—eschewing generic solutions in favour of truly bespoke advice. You will:

  • Support the establishment and expansion of the Irish corporate governance business by utilising existing group resources and networks to build a strong local presence.
  • Deliver high-quality company secretarial support to clients across both financial services and non-financial sectors, ensuring all statutory obligations are met with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues remotely to design and implement bespoke corporate governance frameworks tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, actively participating in business development initiatives to raise both your own profile and that of the business.
  • Contribute to strategic planning discussions, providing insights on best practices in corporate governance based on your extensive experience.
  • Prepare accurate board packs, minutes, resolutions, filings, and other essential documentation required for effective company administration.
  • Monitor regulatory changes relevant to clients’ industries, ensuring compliance processes remain up-to-date and robust at all times.
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative team environment despite remote working arrangements.
  • Support international projects as needed, offering your expertise to group clients outside Ireland when opportunities arise.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of your work, ensuring accuracy and reliability in every task undertaken.

What you bring:

To excel as a Company Secretarial Assistant in this forward-thinking organisation, you will bring proven experience navigating complex company secretarial environments—ideally spanning both regulated financial services entities and broader commercial sectors.

Your academic background may include a university degree or equivalent practical learning gained through hands-on roles; what matters most is your ability to translate knowledge into dependable results.

Professional qualifications such as those from the Chartered Governance Institute are valued but not mandatory if you can showcase deep practical understanding.

Your interpersonal strengths will shine as you collaborate remotely with colleagues across jurisdictions—demonstrating empathy, dependability, and clear communication at every turn.

A passion for raising standards through tailored client service sets you apart from peers who rely on one-size-fits-all approaches.

You thrive when given autonomy yet remain responsive within communal team settings; your attention to detail ensures nothing slips through the cracks even when juggling competing demands.

If you are eager for international exposure or already possess cross-border experience, this role provides ample scope for further growth—all within an environment that prizes flexibility alongside professional achievement.

What sets this company apart:

This organisation stands out by combining the stability of an established international group with the entrepreneurial spirit required for successful market entry into Ireland.

The culture is inclusive, nurturing talent at every level while encouraging open sharing of ideas regardless of location or seniority.

If you value autonomy but also want meaningful connection with knowledgeable colleagues who share your commitment to quality service—and if you’re ready for your next big challenge—this is an environment where you can flourish personally as well as professionally.
