Senior Regulatory Change Analyst
An exceptional opportunity awaits for you to join a leading investment organisation as a Senior Regulatory Change Analyst, where your expertise will directly influence the future of regulatory compliance across Europe.
This role is designed for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values diversity, and is passionate about making a meaningful impact on both ESG and non-ESG regulatory initiatives. You will be at the forefront of shaping how the business responds to evolving regulations, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of regulatory requirements into core processes. With a hybrid work model and a strong commitment to professional development, this position offers you the chance to grow your career while contributing to an inclusive culture that champions fairness, transparency, and client-centric values.
What you'll do:
- Lead complex change workstreams by analysing a wide range of regulations—including ESG—and planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing all activities required for successful project delivery.
- Collaborate extensively with representatives from investment management, stewardship, portfolio review, legal counsel, data, ESG, distribution, and technology teams to identify areas requiring adaptation to meet European regulatory standards.
- Produce comprehensive documentation capturing detailed requirements and prepare executive-level communications that summarise high-level impacts for senior leadership.
- Facilitate workshops aimed at designing practical implementation solutions that embed regulatory considerations throughout the business.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of ESG principles both within the organisation and across the wider industry landscape.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders to enhance connectivity and alignment across European operations.
- Coach and support junior team members by sharing best practices in business analysis and project management methodologies.
- Work closely with programme managers to develop, manage, and execute robust project plans while clearly defining stakeholder roles and responsibilities.
- Receive guidance and mentorship from senior leaders within the finance division to further your professional development.
What you bring:
- A minimum of four years’ relevant experience with proven success in leading regulatory analysis initiatives and managing complex projects within financial services or asset management environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in ESG regulation coupled with a genuine passion for sustainability issues as they relate to investment management.
- Prior experience working within asset management or similar sectors where regulatory compliance is paramount is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with diligence in handling sensitive information and intricate documentation requirements.
- Critical thinking skills that enable you to navigate ambiguity effectively while identifying interdependencies between various business functions.
- Outstanding communication abilities allowing you to articulate challenges and solutions clearly for audiences ranging from technical experts to executive leadership.
- A holistic perspective that enables you to understand overarching organisational goals while being able to delve deeply into specific details when necessary.
- Proven relationship-building skills that foster trust and cooperation among diverse partner teams across multiple geographies.
- Excellent organisational capabilities paired with adeptness at managing stakeholder expectations and influencing outcomes constructively.
- A proactive approach characterised by self-motivation; you independently identify opportunities for improvement and advance workstreams without constant supervision.
