Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Technician Job include:

• Posting supplier invoices and managing weekly payment runs
• Administering travel and subsistence claims
• Supporting fortnightly payroll updates and handling related queries
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
• Assisting with budgeting, audits and financial compliance
• Providing ad hoc financial administration and reporting support

Requirements of the Accounts Technician Job:

• Qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance/accounts role
• Working knowledge of Irish payroll and expense processes
• Strong Excel and Office 365 skills
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication abilities
• A motivated team player with strong attention to detail

• Experience with SAGE Accounts software
• Familiarity with public sector or semi-state financial procedures
• Knowledge of purchase ordering systems
