IT Manager - Join an exciting growing well renowned Irish retail chain as their IT manager. Office located in Dublin, on-site 5 days per week. Top of market compensation package, excellent working environment.
Optimising Business Processes: Actively contribute to refining business operations by implementing, developing, and adapting both existing and new applications.
Facilitating Vendor Relationships: Serve as the primary contact for third-party IT vendors across diverse IT domains.
Providing Team Support: Lead the team by being the pivotal figure in delivering top-tier support services.
Technical Proficiency: Display comprehensive hands-on expertise in crucial tools and platforms like Business Central, Azure, Active Directory, Office 365 Suite, and Power BI.
Direct Reporting and Supervision: Report directly to the Finance Director and oversee the IT Systems Administrator, fostering proactive relationships and effective stakeholder management.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Engage in collaborative problem-solving, leveraging a curious and inquisitive approach to find efficient solutions.
User Understanding: Demonstrate an understanding of end users by being attuned to internal customer needs and the broader business context.
Flexible Workload Management: Adjust work priorities adeptly to meet pressing demands without compromising service quality.
The ideal Candidate
Technical Expertise: Comprehensive hands-on experience and proficiency in utilising essential tools and platforms, including Business Central, Azure, Active Directory, Office 365 Suite, and Power BI. (Essential)
Stakeholder Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage relationships effectively, particularly with third-party IT vendors and internal stakeholders.
Leadership and Team Support: Capability to provide leadership and support to a team, serving as a pivotal figure in delivering high-quality services.
Problem-Solving Aptitude: Proven ability to collaborate and problem-solve effectively, fostering innovative solutions within a team environment.
Adaptability and Prioritisation: Capacity to manage varying workloads and adapt to changing priorities without compromising service excellence.
Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to report directly to higher management, maintain professional relationships, and ensure efficient cross-departmental collaboration.
