MANAGER FOR BUSINESS RISK AND CONTROLS Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 Location: Dublin

On behalf of our client, we are in search of a proficient Manager for Business Risk and Controls to become part of their team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be tasked with the establishment and maintenance of effective practices for risk management, identification of potential risks, development of control measures, and assurance of regulatory compliance. What you'll do:


In the role of Manager for Business Risk and Controls, you will have a pivotal role in the establishment and maintenance of effective practices for risk management under the supervision and direction of the Head of Business Risk & Control. You will be responsible for identifying potential risks, developing measures for control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve close collaboration across the unit to assess & mitigate risk, manage events related to risk, conduct reviews for risk assessment, check and verify internal controls to safeguard the branch.


* Provide guidance to departments on risk management related to business processes
* Lead the creation and upkeep of a robust framework for risk control
* Carry out assessments for Risk and Control for Key Projects
* Assist in the generation of timely information on risk management
* Track and report on operational risk and events related to risk
* Promote efficient risk management integrated with business in accordance with internal guidelines
* Foster a strong culture of risk within the organisation


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for the position of Manager for Business Risk & Controls will bring outstanding skills in communication, interpersonal relations, networking and presentation. You should have deep understanding of regulation related to financial crime and be proficient in using Microsoft Office software. Relevant experience in reviewing activities against documented processes is essential. You should be capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment and across teams. An understanding of good culture related to risk is also important.
