Head of Business Regulation and Risk

A global leading investment firm is seeking a Head of Business Regulation and Risk to join their wealth management division in their Dublin office.

As the Head of Business Regulation and Risk you will:

• Lead Wealth management ("WM) on embedding regulations, policies, frameworks and procedures
• Lead Wealth management risk management across all WM business lines, services and products
• Manage WM team members involved in risk, compliance and product governance roles
• Participate in WM product approval, post implementation reviews, cyclical risk based product review and product withdrawal
• Lead WM input into future regulatory changes by working closely with all stakeholders
• Own and ensure relevant WM policies and procedures are up to date,
• Meet regulatory & risk obligations and that these are communicated clearly to staff
• Ensure WM Senior Management remain informed of regulatory, legislative and best practice changes
• Provide practical regulatory and risk advice, training and best practice development to WM staff
• Manage the delivery of WM compliance and risk related projects and initiatives

The Head of Business Regulation and Risk will be a highly meticulous and organised individual who has the ability to interpret regulation (MIFID and CPC), together with risk and product governance, and implement practically within business.
