A large financial services company are looking for a compliance manager to oversee the consumer protection and conduct risk area of their asset finance business. This is a second line compliance role. The company are based in Dublin and have a hybrid working scheme with a mix of home and office working.

Main responsibilities of the compliance manager:

• Carry out horizon scanning for upcoming conduct risk updates
• Advise the business on any updates to conduct risk and assist with implementation into the business
• Complete conduct risk assessments
• Ensure consumer protection policies and procedures are up to date and implemented
• Advise the business on all consumer protection and conduct risk queries
• Review marketing materials
• Liaise and build relationships with internal stakeholders
• Deliver conduct risk training to the business
• Assist with the annual compliance plan
• Produce reports for board, committees and senior management
• Communicate with the regulator on compliance and conduct risk matters

As an ideal candidate for this role you will have previous experience in a conduct risk or consumer protection role within financial services. Experience with hire purchase or asset finance is essential. You will be comfortable engaging with regulators and senior staff. You will have good written and spoken communication skills. You are confident working independently but can also collaborate easily within a team.
