AVP - Compliance

As a AVP Compliance, you will play a crucial role in the global compliance team, reporting directly to the leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Enhancing the entity-wide risk framework, concentrating on regulatory risk.
• Assisting in the development and representation of global regulatory and strategic compliance initiatives.
• Monitoring and analysing MiFID trading activities in Ireland, including trade analysis, transaction reporting, trade surveillance, and best execution.
• Providing oversight and advisory for core compliance functions, including conflict of interest monitoring, trade documentation review, risk assessment related to non-public information and trading, and anti-money laundering procedures development.
• Staying abreast of regulatory developments and leading regulatory change projects in collaboration with other business divisions and offices.
• Managing and enhancing the regulatory compliance framework and corporate governance, ensuring compliance.
• Advising on and preparing regulatory submissions to the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Updating and aligning compliance and risk policies and procedures with relevant regulatory and operational frameworks.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in legal, compliance, regulatory, or risk-focused roles.
• Comprehensive operational and regulatory knowledge of AIFMD, MiFID, and/or UCITS.
• Proven experience in risk assessment and effective enterprise-wide risk mitigation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving global business environment.
• Analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to independently set priorities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in effective communication, both written and verbal, tailored to business audiences.
