What you'll do:

As a Planning and Environment Managing Associate, your role will be pivotal in supporting the development of a focused planning and infrastructure consenting practice. You will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on various aspects of regulatory consents required for infrastructure projects. Your expertise will also be crucial in reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and Natura Impact Statements for projects while ensuring statutory compliance. You will conduct thorough planning and environmental due diligence, analyse planning permissions, advise on judicial review processes, defend planning and environmental prosecutions, and provide general planning and environmental law advice.

What you bring:

• At least 5 - 7 years Planning/Infrastructure Consenting experience gained within a comparable environment at an appropriate level
• Clear understanding of the operation and structure of a leading law firm
• In-depth understanding of technical legislation, regulatory requirements applicable to planning and consenting matters
• Experience in supervising junior members of a team
• Ability to take responsibility for own work matters
