What you'll do:

• Drafting and updating pension scheme documentation
• Negotiating complex transactions with potential involvement in contentious work
• Providing legal advice on pension schemes from day-to-day benefit queries to large scale restructuring projects
• Advising on pension scheme mergers and reorganisations
• Handling the pension aspects of corporate finance transactions
• Guiding sponsoring employers, trustees and committees on compliance and interpretation of legislation and scheme rules
• Advising on the establishment and amendment of several types of employee incentive plans

What you bring:

• Trained with post qualification experience 2 years + at a firm respected for work in pensions
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and decision making
• Proven organisational and prioritisation skills; ability to manage a busy workload consistently meeting client needs
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail required
• Strong interest in maintaining, developing, and sharing relevant legal knowledge
