Legal Counsel
Legal Counsel We’re looking for a driven and pragmatic Legal Counsel to support our client's expansion across Europe. This hands-on role involves working on commercial contracts, regulatory research, market launches, and process improvements. You’ll report to the Senior Legal Counsel in Dublin and collaborate with teams across London, Spain, and Italy.
What you’ll do:
- Negotiate and review commercial contracts across Europe.
- Conduct regulatory research and provide advice on European financial regulations (e.g., AML).
- Localize customer terms and conditions for European markets, particularly France.
- Support due diligence of business partners and outsourcing arrangements.
- Assist with legal projects related to new products, regulations, and market growth.
What we’re looking for:
- European-qualified lawyer (3–5 PQE) with experience in commercial contracts or financial services.
- Interest in payments, e-money, or regulated services (merchant acquiring experience is a plus).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for non-lawyers.
- Collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong ethical standards.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
