A leading law firm in Dublin is looking for a Senior Associate to join their Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and join a market leading construction team in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance on construction-related matters to clients, including developers, contractors, investors, and funders. • Advise on all phases of project procurement, from contract structuring to appointment of design teams and contractors. • Draft and negotiate construction contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments. • Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas, such as real estate and finance, on complex transactions involving construction projects. • Assist in dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, for construction-related conflicts.
Key requirements:
• Qualified solicitor with a strong academic background in law. • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in construction law, ideally gained from a top-tier law firm or reputable legal practice. • In-depth knowledge of Irish construction law, regulations, and industry practices. • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with experience in preparing construction contracts and related documents. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle complex legal issues and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
