We are partnering with an International law firm in Dublin looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solicitor to join their Data Protection & Privacy team. As a Senior Solicitor, you will work alongside their team of experienced lawyers to provide expert legal advice and support to their clients on a wide range of data protection and privacy matters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of data protection and privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and other relevant data protection laws.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to stay up to date on the latest developments in data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents related to data protection and privacy, including data processing agreements, privacy policies, and data protection impact assessments.
• Support clients in responding to data breaches and other data protection-related incidents, including liaising with regulatory authorities and affected individuals.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on best practices for data protection and privacy.
• Work closely with other members of the team to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Key Requirements:
• Qualified solicitor/barrister with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in data protection and privacy law.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws and regulations.
• Excellent legal research and analysis skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in managing and advising clients on data protection matters.
• Litigation experience related to data privacy is a plus.
• Professional certifications related to data protection (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) are desirable but not mandatory.
