Senior Associate

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate with a strong background in company secretarial services within the funds industry to join a growing team within a leading international financial services organisation. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of fund clients and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, progressive, and high-performing environment.

The Role

Working closely with senior members of the governance team, the Senior Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of a portfolio of investment fund and corporate entities. The role requires strong technical capability, excellent organisation, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of fund clients, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

  • Coordinate board and shareholder meetings, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and drafting minutes.

  • Maintain accurate statutory and corporate records for assigned entities.

  • Support governance and compliance processes, including board changes, service provider updates, and regulatory filings.

  • Review governance documentation and resolutions to ensure alignment with regulatory, client, and internal requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support cross-jurisdictional fund structures.

  • Contribute to process improvements and support junior team members as required

Candidate Profile

  • Degree-qualified, ideally in business, law, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in company secretarial or corporate governance roles, with direct experience in funds.

  • Strong knowledge of fund structures and regulated entities; multi-jurisdictional experience is an advantage.

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

  • Confident managing competing priorities and deadlines in a busy, client-facing environment.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and quality-focused.
