Corporate Governance Specialist

A leading global trading firm is seeking a Corporate Governance Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will work closely with Compliance, Legal, and senior management to ensure the effective implementation and execution of corporate governance requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance processes related to the Minimum Competency Code.
• Facilitate Board performance evaluations and training.
• Support succession planning for Directors and Key Personnel.
• Collaborate with the legal team to maintain the repository for Corporate Documentation.
• Provide support for Company Secretarial requirements within the European group.
• Work with legal and technology teams to advance Corporate Governance initiatives.
• Oversee processes for the Fitness & Probity and Senior Executive Accountability Regimes, including annual certification for relevant authorities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory operational processes.
