Our esteemed client is seeking a Senior Company Secretarial Assistant with a keen interest in corporate governance and transactional company secretarial projects. This role provides an invaluable opportunity to gain experience within a listed plc. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, handling a wide range of responsibilities including compliance with listing rules, subsidiary governance, and preparations for AGMs or other shareholder general meetings.

In the role of Senior Company Secretary, your daily tasks will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities. You'll manage various listing rule requirements, ensuring compliance with NYSE and LSE stock exchanges. Your role will also involve assisting with PLC compliance, keeping abreast of changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment.

  • Manage various listing rule requirements, including draft and release of market announcements to NYSE and LSE stock exchanges
  • Assist with PLC compliance including monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment
  • Prepare for the AGM or other shareholder general meetings and draft relevant shareholder communications
  • Support subsidiary governance of Group entities including managing a portfolio of subsidiaries
  • Act as first point of contact for subsidiary directors, providing support and advice
  • Maintain statutory and administration records in accordance with local regulations and legislation
