What you'll do:

As a Company Secretarial Assistant/Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing company secretarial and governance services across various industries. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include arranging, attending, and minuting all directors' and shareholders' meetings, preparing minutes, resolutions, and associated documentation related to corporate transactions. You will also support the provision of Governance services while maintaining Registers on Diligent software. Your role will involve ensuring that the statutory registers and corporate documents of each client are maintained according to law and internal policies.

  • Arrange, attend and minute all directors' and shareholders' meetings
  • Prepare minutes, resolutions and associated documentation in relation to corporate transactions
  • Support the provision of Governance services
  • Maintain Registers on Diligent software
  • Ensure that the statutory registers and corporate documents of each client are maintained in accordance with law and internal policies and procedures
  • Liaise with the Registrar of Companies in connection with routine corporate administrative/regulatory matters
  • Support the provision of Share scheme administration services
  • Manage the billing process

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Company Secretarial Assistant/Assistant Manager position will bring a wealth of experience from a similar role within a law or financial services firm. You should hold a primary degree in Business, Law or Accounting and be Chartered Governance Institute qualified or part-qualified. Your excellent communication skills will be essential for building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. Your strong service delivery skills coupled with your excellent organisational abilities will ensure you excel in this role.

  • Primary degree (Business, Law, Accounting)
  • Chartered Governance Institute qualified / or part-qualified.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role either in a law or financial services firm.
  • Excellent communication skills essential
  • Strong service delivery skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Outgoing, ability to communicate well with colleagues and clients
  • Excellent organisational skills
