Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading international healthcare services organisation, is seeking an In-House Legal Counsel to support their expanding operations in Ireland and globally. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with business leaders on key legal initiatives in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Advise on diverse legal, corporate, and compliance matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Negotiate and manage a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, assisting in the creation of legal templates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute agreements efficiently.
• Lead legal support for corporate M&A activities, including managing external advisors and reviewing transaction documents.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with external counsel to manage and minimise costs.
• Balance and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Solicitor qualification with over 5 years of post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house roles.
• Proven track record in negotiating and managing commercial contracts.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercially savvy with a problem-solving approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working well in a team.
• Ability to independently manage assignments.
• Committed work ethic and positive attitude.
