A mid-tier law firm in Dublin is seeking to recruit a float secretary / receptionist.
Key responsibilities of the float secretary / receptionist:
- Produce quality work efficiently and accurately
- Draft and redraft documentation using advanced features of Microsoft Office
- Deal with partners and solicitors on a proactive basis and communicating any problems which may arise and suggesting solutions to overcome them as appropriate
- Prepare and draft bills of costs for clients, narratives, capture outlay, following up with 3rd parties for their invoices
- Take telephone messages and manage client relationships
- Filing and general administrative support including archiving
- Act as the main cover for reception when required
- Comply with all of the firm's policies and procedures
- Support firm-wide risk management initiatives
As the float secretary / receptionist you will have 3+ years' secretarial experience in a professional services environment with a recognised secretarial course (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role). You will have strong keyboard skills, with typing skills a minimum of 65 +wpm. You will have a professional manner and approach, strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy team.
