The company is a leading provider of insurance based wealth solutions. The role of Corporate Lawyer will join a team of three lawyers in the Corporate Legal team The team advise on a wide range of legal issues concerning the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful role holder will be responsible for negotiating legal agreements. The successful candidate must therefore have significant technical competence and practical experience in all aspects of commercial contract drafting and negotiation as well as an understanding of cross border financial services regulation.

The successful role holder will assist in advising the business on ad-hoc legal issues, commercial disputes and responding to legal queries; and must therefore have demonstrable experience in undertaking legal research and providing legal advice in either a private practice setting or in-house legal environment.

Qualified Irish solicitor;
Demonstrable experience and confident negotiating complex agreements in-house either with a corporate or at a reputable law firm.
Knowledge and/or experience of cross border life assurance regulation / products would be preferred but not essential.
Fluent in English;
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and good follow through skills;
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively and independently engage with internal stakeholders;
