Risk Manager

A leading global Insurance firm in Dublin are seeking a Risk Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Risk Manager

• Collaborate with the CRO to develop and communicate the Risk & Compliance function's strategy, driving the implementation of strategic initiatives and providing support to the CRO and the team.
• Assist the CRO in addressing operational challenges, such as target operating models, succession planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.
• Serve as a key liaison for the 2nd line of defence, managing internal and external communications and promoting positive staff engagement
• Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the Risk team to ensure alignment with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, profitability, and reputation protection.
• Ensure smooth quarterly reporting, including Risk Management Committee coordination, decision monitoring, and timely completion of outputs.
• Collaborate with internal and global risk teams on efficiency projects and framework consistency. Develop, maintain, and align the risk management framework with regulations and best practices.

As the Risk Manager you will need to have experience in a similar role, leading teams fulfilling risk management functions within regulated financial services. You will also need manager-level experience in various risk management areas, including operational risk and resilience.
