A leading funds company is seeking to hire a Junior IT Support Engineer for their expanding Dublin operation. This role includes providing configuration management and support of hardware, software, security, and policy standards for the end user computing environment.

Key responsibilities of the junior IT support:

• Provide tier 1 and 2 support of systems and applications through phone calls and emails from end users
• Setup video conferences for end users and assist with day to day technology maintenance of our video conferencing system
• Provide PC hardware support, imaging, setups, and moves on a trading floor
• Support and maintain the Global End User Computing (EUC) platforms and related applications to ensure high performance and uptime
• Fulfill service requests via Dell KACE by providing in person and phone support in a timely manner to assure business clients are satisfied
• Support and maintain Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop and XenMobile (MDM) infrastructure for users globally
• Maintain image management by working with NY based teams to ensure standards are maintained globally
• Perform routine monitoring and tuning of alerts to assure consistent

As the junior IT support you will have a B.S. degree in a computer science / information technology / or computer related discipline with 2+ years’ experience (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role). You will also have knowledge of Market Data applications.
