A leading financial services company based in Dublin is seeking to hire an IT team lead to join their team.

Key responsibilities of the IT team lead:

• Providing a high, consistent and professional IT service, and reporting, to the Fund Solutions business
• Operational support and continuous improvement of the IT estate, across all environments
• Day-to-day local IT functional support from Desktop to application, back-ups, licenses and monitoring
• Leadership of local IT Team
• Local management and delivery of IT
• Support IT change and incidents outside of core business hours
• Managing third party suppliers and liaising with internal business units to provide proactive and timely responses to issues outside of their control
• Engage with technical staff and suppliers to define the best system and platform configurations to achieve business / user objectives

As the IT team lead you will have a proven track record of hands-on operation / infrastructure skills, design and technical engineering with demonstrable responsibility, and experience for production environments. You will have experience of Enterprise technologies, Virtualisation, SAN / NAS, Capacity, Resilience, Monitoring, Network and Performance Management. You will also have the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience.
