A leading insurance company based in Dublin is seeking to hire a quality assurance analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract. The quality assurance analyst is required to carry out testing in the areas of data quality and process improvements and to assist in the delivery of timely, accurate and complete data to the business using existing tools and processes.

Key responsibilities of the quality assurance analyst:

  • Ensure that Quality Assurance (QA) acceptance criteria meets standards defined in test plans
  • Contributes to the development of test plans, test scripts and release documentation
  • Execute test scripts and test cases and reporting and tracking of results/issues
  • Support testing deadlines on assigned projects ensuring that each defect is managed to resolution
  • Support both planned and emergency software releases
  • Participate in or support various testing phases including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance Lead (and other teammates) to gather requirements, assist in the design of new enhancements, functionality, and release planning
  • Help transform manual based testing approaches

As the quality assurance analyst you will have a university degree in business or equivalent work experience. You will have the ability to identify design flaws and make recommendations in order to ensure best possible quality outcome. You will also have the ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities and ensuring quality standards. Business level Spanish is advantageous.
