A leading insurance company based in Dublin are currently looking to hire a risk reporting officer to join their Dublin team.
Key responsibilities of the risk reporting officer:
- Manage the regular reporting cycle to senior stakeholders and develop it continuously to strengthen risk insight and process efficiency
- Support the CRO in leading the ORSA process and contribute directly to key aspects of that process, in particular the Assessment of Overall Solvency Needs and Target Capital Analysis
- Support the development and enhancement of the ME / MEI Risk Management Framework
- Lead the further development of reporting metrics to monitor the dynamics of the risk profile and focus executive action, including hedging, re-insurance, ALM strategy, strengthening of operational controls etc.
- Work with the other Central Risk and Actuarial teams to integrate the communication and presentation of key risks; collaborate with them to develop analysis as required for executive action
- Develop the risk policy suite, and collaborate on related policies
- Lead, coach and develop other members of the team
As the risk reporting officer you will have 5+ years' financial services experience in a technical risk role and / or actuarial role (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role). You will have Solvency II experience and have a track record in analysing complex problems, driving results and delivering recommendations to high quality standards.
