Compliance Manager

An irish asset manager is looking for a Complinace Manager to assist in the development and execution of, the firm’s Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to the business on AML and compliance matters.
• Work with business areas and the Board develop/review documentation compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
• Monitor activity for compliance with policies and procedures, present reports to the Management Team.
• Review and approve marketing material and other relevant documentation for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports for the Management Team, Risk and Compliance Committee, Board and Central Bank.
• Act as secretary to the Risk and Compliance Committee.
• Manage the Fitness and Probity and Minimum Competency requirements for new and existing staff.
• Prepare and deliver training and assessments.
• Act as the designated Compliance representative on the Data Protection team.

Qualifications/Experience

• Professional Diploma in Compliance and member of the Compliance Institute.
• Ideally Business/Finance/Legal 3rd level degree.
• Experience of working in financial services Compliance/Risk/AML/Audit/Legal related function for at least 5 years.
• Experience of relevant Irish and EU financial services regulations. Knowledge of MiFID regulations a distinct advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organisational and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
