Based out of its high growth Dublin based HQ, a global insurance firm is looking to hire an investment portfolio manager. Reporting to the head of investments & product, the investment portfolio manager will have the opportunity to run and build their own portfolios, offering protection and insurance investments solutions to client and business partners across Europe.
Responsibilities of the investment portfolio manager:
- Manage unit-linked fund investments
- Measure investments performance and future investment viability
- Support cash management activities and account management
- Implementation of internal and external funds
- Bring investment expertise to new and existing products
- Due diligence on new retail and private investment solutions
- Build a performance management framework
- Partner with back office regarding new products
- Active member of investment committee
As the ideal candidate you will have an understanding of financial performance management and fund management, supporting the underlying skill-sets required to be an Investment Portfolio Manager. You will have an interest in pursuing the CFA accreditation at a minimum, and likely have begun or completed the relevant exams.
