A growing asset management company here in Dublin currently have requirements to hire a senior investment strategist to join their investment department.

Key responsibilities of the senior investment strategist:

• Provide detailed analysis of financial markets
• Provide clear guidance on strategy to the broader investment
• Develop and work with fundamental macro-economic models to assist investment decision making across all major asset classes
• Mentoring and developing a growing team of strategists
• Help develop strategic view on major asset classes as well as factors, regions, and currencies to inform
  longer term portfolio construction considerations
• Utilise own proprietary modelling or external research provider to develop valuations of specific assets
• Trade idea generation based on analysis of fundamental and technical information

As the senior investment strategist you will have CFA qualification and have 10+ years' experience in finance, preferably in asset management or a similar financial institution. You will have experience in managing a team and should be a confident communicator of investment topics. A passion for investing and capital markets as well as having knowledge in multi-assets which includes equities, fixed income and FX in developed and emerging regions will be advantageous. Familiarity with quantitative models and techniques will be required and the ability to write or modify code to support analytical work would be a plus.
