Responsibilities:
- Support and manage the delivery of a risk-based compliance testing and monitoring programme.
- Assist with drafting and co-ordinating responses to questions and requests from key regulators including the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Track and manage registration and filing requirements, including where applicable working closely with other functions to ensure various filing and reporting requirements are centrally recorded, tracked, and met in a timely manner.
- Overseeing the annual Cross Border Exemption Audit with external auditors, submissions and assisting with any required compliance documents for the annual external audit.
- Tracking, summarising, and implementing strategies with respect to relevant new regulations.
- Any ad hoc guidance or business change products requiring compliance participation.
Requirements:
- Degree level (or equivalent) and/or possess a relevant qualification in Compliance.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience working in a compliance and AML/CTF role in financial services, preferably in investment management.
- Track record of successfully implementing regulatory compliance frameworks, including policies, procedures, reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable regulatory compliance requirements applicable to fund service providers and investment managers, including detailed knowledge of fund structures and operations.
- Excellent experience of reviewing regulations and guidance issued by the CBI and various independent EU authorities.
- Strong working knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, MIFID, AML/CTF, SFDR, etc.
- Awareness of ESG issues at a company and industry level is highly valued.
