Main responsibilities of the head of compliance
- Maintain compliance registers
- Stay abreast of regulatory updates and implement into business as required
- Advise the business on regulatory matters and requirements
- Ensure the business is in line with local compliance requirements
- Update policies and procedures
- Implement the compliance monitoring programme
- Promote a compliance culture
- Report to the board
- Act as lead of the local compliance function
As an ideal candidate for this role you will have previous experience within a compliance role in financial services. Working knowledge with fund administration regulatory requirements would be beneficial but not essential. This is a great option for someone looking for their first step up to PCF or a 2nd PCF role for an experienced head of compliance.
