One of the world's largest specialised global investment managers, regulated in Europe by the CSSF in Luxembourg is seeking to hire a senior compliance professional to lead compliance for the Irish business and support the European compliance team across 10 branch locations. An advisory role you will horizon scan for upstream and regulatory change, working closely with senior stakeholders to advise how to achieve commercial results in a compliant approach.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Support the European compliance team in executing the EU compliance program
- Identify gaps in controls and processes and suggest improvements
- Provide compliance training to the business
- Support on various compliance projects
- Maintain the Irish compliance framework
- Present to the board as lead for the Ireland compliance framework
As an ideal candidate for this role you will have previous experience in a regulatory compliance role. You will be comfortable dealing with management at all levels and advising the same. You will be detail orientated, confident identifying regulatory issues and developing solutions.
